Yarden Somekh

Yarden is a Biology major and pre-med student with interests in medicine, research, and community health. Yarden is trained in first aid and has experience providing first aid in ambulance settings. As the GSSC Health & Wellness Representative, she hopes to help GS students better understand and access Columbia’s health and wellness resources, listen to student needs, and develop initiatives that support the well-being of the GS community. Outside of academics, she enjoys ballet, Pilates, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends.
