The GSSC Travel Fund

The General Studies Student Council (GSSC) is officially launching the GSSC Travel Fund!

GS students are now eligible to apply for up to $250 in travel subsidies from the GSSC Travel Fund.

In the short term, the $5,000 which GSSC has allocated for this fund will immediately become available to GS students. In the long term, the information collected by this initiative will inform our path forward in advocating for a future version of the Travel Fund integrated with school administration.

To be considered for the GSSC Travel Fund, travel must be officially affiliated with Columbia, and funding is reserved exclusively for GS members of any organization.

For international travel, you’ll additionally need to go through the process for official school sponsorship which can be viewed at this link.  

When you complete the form please email, along with the detailed budget form [email protected] for processing; it may take up to 3 days for a response and a follow-up meeting or additional information may be requested.
