Nora Zhu

Nora is a senior in the Dual BA Program with Sciences Po, majoring in Economics and Political Science. She is passionate about student advocacy and fostering inclusive environments. This past year, she served as the Academic Affairs Representative on GSSC’s Policy Committee, leading initiatives to expand research opportunities for students and reform the Latin Honors system. 

Nora takes a collaborative approach to policy, with a focus on balancing long-term strategies and achieving tangible results. Her work this past year has reinforced her belief in the power of listening, staying organized, and committing to advocacy that truly benefits the community. As the incoming Vice President of Policy, she’s excited to continue building on the momentum of the Policy Committee and ensure the voices of GS students are heard. 

Outside of her academic and advocacy work, Nora enjoys rewatching Studio Ghibli films, exploring farmer’s markets, and discovering hiking trails in New York City. She looks forward to further contributing to the General Studies community during her senior year.
